Dynamics 365 App for Outlook - Set regarding on custom entities

One of our users recently wanted to track an email from outlook using the light weight "Dynamics 365 App for Outlook". While setting the regarding field she noticed she did not have the option to select a custom entity. 

At first I thought this was maybe a limitation of the light weight app however, we can simply modify the entities available to track following the below instructions. 


Navigate to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System
Click on Model-driven Apps and double click the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook Component.



All we need to do is click "Add" >> "Entities" tick which entities we want available. Click Save and Publish.



Now when we next go into the outlook app our new entity will be available to track emails against. It will also allow you to select the new entity to search against.
